Williams leads Jazz into 2nd round (AP)
Yahoo Sports [05/02/2008]

The crowd cheers as Utah Jazz guard Ronnie Brewer (9) celebrates his three point shot against the Houston Rockets during the third quarter of Game 6 of the NBA basketball playoff series Friday, May 2, 2008, in Salt Lake City. The Jazz beat the Rockets 113-91.

The Utah Jazz will be playing on the road Sunday, but not in Houston. The Jazz beat the Rockets 113-91 on Friday night to win the series 4-2 and avoid having to play a Game 7 on the road. The Jazz did that a year ago against the Rockets and didn't want to push their luck again in Texas. The third quarter all but guaranteed they wouldn't have to.

Jazz deal Suns third straight home loss (AP)
Yahoo Sports [03/07/2008]

Phoenix Suns guard Leandro Barbosa, right, hits a lay up as Utah Jazz guard Ronnie Brewer, left, tries to block the shot during the fourth quarter of an NBA basketball game on Friday, March 7, 2008, in Phoenix.

The Utah Jazz went on a scoring binge against Phoenix on Friday night. Everybody's doing that against the struggling Suns these days. Carlos Boozer scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half, including a tough 8-foot bank shot with 31.1 seconds to play, and the Jazz handed the Suns their third consecutive home loss, 126-118.
