At 36, Todd Collins doesn't have a rocket for an arm, if he ever did, but he has been in associate head coach Al Saunders' offense for seven years with the Chiefs and Redskins. Saunders compared Collins' quick release and understanding of the offense to that of two-time MVP Kurt Warner and Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Dan Fouts, all of whom he coached. "Todd's meticulous in his preparation," Saunders said, according to The Sports Xchange. "He's a very intelligent guy. He has great anticipation. That's what makes him effective as a quarterback. I always felt like if he had the opportunity, he would perform at a very high level."
