| Guess I got lucky, years ago, while Joe was playing for the Chiefs, I sent a SAE w/Joe in a Chief's uniform, In Care of the KC Chiefs. About 10 months later (of course he wasn't playing anymore) I got the card in the mail, signed by him. It was in blue ink, but still it was kewl he sent it back. PS Still have the card! |

| Back when Montana was still playing, (Chiefs era) my dad asked him for his autography and he told him he wouldn't sign it without a donation first! There was no sign saying that and when my dad was short a $1.23, Montana still refused to sign it. I'm sorry but at least a sign to warn fans ahead of time would have been nice! |

| My son used to think Joe Montana was "IT",
but in about 1992 give or take a year, my son, sent a rookie card of Joe Montana, to Montana, for an autograph, along with a letter, Joe Montana never responded with nothing, he could have at least sent back the card! At the time my son was about 15, I think he should at least answer kids when they write to him or at least let some one who works for him, say he is to busy or what ever he wants to say.
