The Colorado Rockies expected Chris Iannetta to be their catcher of the future in 2007. A year later, he's living up to that promise. Iannetta hit a broken-bat, two-run homer in the sixth and drove in three runs and Ubaldo Jimenez pitched seven innings to lead help the Rockies snap a four-game losing streak with a 5-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday night.

In a throwback to the pre-humidor days, Colorado homered six times and beat the Florida Marlins 18-17 on Friday night after trailing by nine runs in the biggest comeback in Rockies history. Chris Iannetta singled home the winning run off Kevin Gregg in the ninth inning.

Chipper Jones hit a two-run single in the fifth to break open a scoreless game, Jair Jurrjens pitched into the eighth inning without allowing a run and the Atlanta Braves beat the Colorado Rockies 7-1 on Monday night. The contest was a makeup from a snow-out on April 10. Jones, mired in a 2-for-15 slump entering the game, finished 2-for-4 with a walk, raising his average a point to .403.
