Fausto Carmona gave Cliff Lee a tough act to follow. Carmona pitched a five-hitter for Cleveland's second consecutive shutout over the struggling Toronto Blue Jays, a 3-0 victory in Monday's doubleheader opener. Lee, 6-0 with a major league-leading 0.81 ERA, started the second game and tried to complete a sweep for the Indians.

Dioner Navarro hit a grand slam in the 13th inning after Carl Crawford drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly and the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Toronto Blue Jays 8-3 Thursday night. Facing Toronto's seventh pitcher, Shawn Camp (0-1), Jason Bartlett singled off the glove of second baseman Aaron Hill to begin the inning and went to third on Akinori Iwamura's base hit.
